Russia Delivers 31.7 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Pakistan

27th March,2025 : A special humanitarian flight from Government of Russian Federation carrying 31.7 tons of relief items including canned food, ration packs, baby products, and clothing arrived in Pakistan to support affected people of Kurram and Parachinar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ceremony was attended by the H.E Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Mr Albert P Khorev, MoFA Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan (MOFA) and Brig Kamran from the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA),Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) delegation included Secretary General Mr Abaid Ullah Khan and his team, Vice Chairman PRCS Khyber Pakhtunkhwa branch Mr Farzand Wazir and his team members also participated in the handover ceremony at the airport. The Russian Ambassador officially handed over the relief documents to MoFA, followed by transfer through NDMA to PRCS NHQ.
In his speech, Ambassador Albert P Khorev noted the important role of humanitarian cooperation in the context of strengthening Russia-Pakistan relations, which are at the highest point in bilateral history, and emphasised Russia's readiness to always come to the aid of the friendly people of Pakistan.
