Our Introduction
The IFRC supported CDC Routine Immunization program, launched in 2018, was conceived with the primary objective of bolstering immunization coverage in districts at a significantly high risk level within the target regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Baluchistan, Pakistan. This initiative is a testament to our unwavering commitment to improving public health outcomes and preventing the spread of vaccine-preventable diseases in the most vulnerable areas.
Our Objectives
The core objectives of the IFRC/NorCross supported PHC/Immunization Program are as follows:

The implementation of the Routine Immunization Program in select districts.

The provision of high-quality medicines in the operational areas.
Our Outreach
The Routine Immunization Program operates within the provinces of Balochistan and KP, focusing on the districts of Killa Abdullah, Chaman, Bannu, and SD-Wazir. In these regions, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) teams are dedicated to enhancing immunization coverage and accessibility to ensure healthier communities.
Our Achievements
Overcoming significant challenges, our Routine Immunization Program has achieved remarkable progress in increasing immunization coverage:

In Killa Abdullah & Chaman, baseline coverage has risen from 20%

Bannu has seen a rise from 30%

SD-Wazir, starting at 11%, has reached 35% coverage.
